Community Theatre
A grassroots performance engine where ordinary citizens, youth, market traders, and residents collaborate with Tebere fellows to co-create raw, transformative theatrical stories.
"A place for lifelong learning and pure joy."
Volunteer-Based Grassroots Theatre: Tebere’s Community Theatre Initiative brings performance training directly into informal urban settlements. We believe that everyone—regardless of professional arts background—holds stories that illuminate human resilience, joy, and societal reflection.
Through immersive workshops, fellows from Tebere Arts Foundation mentor community actors in acting craft, script construction, directorship, and stage management, cultivating sustainable creative hubs owned by the neighborhoods themselves.
