Salome Akwi

Salome is a writer, graphics designer, and Co-founder of Blackjack Publishers Ltd. Her passion for literature, art, and design compels her to use these skills as a means to solve societal problems.

She believes that through creative works and literacy activities, the community can be enlightened and serve as a tool to address today’s global challenges. Salome is open to learning new skills to better herself and share them with the people she encounters.

Under the Elite Child Project sponsored by UNDP, she created learning materials for 3-6-year-old children, including activity books, storybooks, and Numbers fruits and color card games. She has also developed 10 readers for SIPRO Educational Services, among others. Currently, she is a Director of Blackjack Publishers Ltd, overseeing the day-to-day activities of the firm.
